Below is a tutorial outlining how to install cPanel/WHM on a dedicated server which will enable you to sell web hosting. Before we go ahead and install cPanel lets make sure that your dedicated server is compatible with cPanels minimum requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Pentium or AMD chipset at 266 MHz.
Both i386 (32-bit) and x86-64 (64-bit) architectures will work with cPanel.
512 MB of RAM (1 GB minimum is recommended when hosting many accounts).
10 GB free hard drive space (More is required to host multiple accounts).
Centos (recommended)
Assuming you have a dedicated server that meets the minimum requires then we are ready to get started installing cPanel/WHM
Installing cPanel/WHM
To begin your installation, use the following commands when contacted to your dedicated server with SSH as root:
cd /home — Opens the directory /home.
wget -N http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/latest — Fetches the latest installation file from the cPanel servers.
sh latest — Opens and runs the installation files.
/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt — Activates your license after installation.
